SCW's Development, Delivery & Support of Multiple Integrated Care Record & Interoperability Programmes has been selected as a finalist in Smarter Working Live Awards 2020.
We're proud to be chosen as a finalist in the Data and Interoperability category of this year's Smarter Working Lives Awards. The award entry featured the three largest of SCW’s interoperability programmes:
- Care and Health Information Exchange (CHIE)
- Joining up Your Information (JUYI, Gloucestershire)
- Connecting Care (Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire)
SCW works in collaboration with over 50 stakeholder organisations to develop and deploy multiple shared health and care record and interoperability programmes driving forward the effective use of digital technologies to revolutionise both citizens and staff experiences.
We also support the Oxford Care Summary (OCR, Oxford) and the Wiltshire Interoperability Programme (Wiltshire) and are working with the Somerset Interoperability Programme (SIDeR) to start cross interoperability programme sharing.
The award entry gave the opportunity to showcase how data is being shared between many types of organisations, including 330 GP Practices, 9 Acute Trusts, 8 Community and Mental Health Trusts, 8 Local Authorities, 5 Hospices, 4 Out of Hours services, 2 Ambulance Trusts, plus a number of Care Homes, Prisons and other organisations (e.g. British Red Cross), and 21 separate IT systems and suppliers.
On average each month, over 15,000 individual users access in excess of 140,000 unique records via CHIE, Connecting Care or JUYI.
SCW's entry was shortlisted from over 250 submissions received from the public sector. The winners will be announced on 26 November 2020.
