A professional, public-facing website up and running in just one month.
The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB) STP project board wanted a website to bring together all STP information in one place. The website needed to focus on the needs of the STP and help to build an understanding of what an STP is, and what it will deliver.
The website needed to allow the project board to manage communications with multiple stakeholders in one place.
The challenges this presented were primarily as a result of the size and complexity of the STP, which brings together seven Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), six NHS providers, 14 Local Authorities and 175 GP practices; with this number of partners the amount of information on the website could have been overwhelming and difficult to manage.
What we delivered
Taking a collaborative approach to the project, our communications and engagement professionals sought advice and direction from the STP Communications and Engagement Network, which included representatives from the STP partner organisations to ensure their key objectives could be achieved.
Working with their communications counterparts, our team agreed on content, with experts from our design studio and web team designing and building the site.
It was agreed that the site would only include overarching information relevant to the STP, with Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West each given their own webpages hosting detailed local information to ensure the website did not overshadow local CCG websites.
Each locality page has a content manager responsible for sending in content, which is edited and uploaded by SCW to ensure consistency.
